I found my passion in life. Design. I chose to study design and architecture at UCLA. It was the best choice for the foundation of my career I could have made. As a result I have enjoyed so many facets of the industry from Commercial to Residential, Hospitality and Gaming.
When people would ask what my design style was, I used to struggle for a simple one word answer. I had to identify my brand. My strength is interpreting my client’s vision and designing a space that effectlively translates that vision into a unique and creative interior. The result... Walking into a space, whether it be a home, hotel or business, and getting the feeling that everything is in its rightful location, the lighting is perfect and the ambiance is elegant, exciting, chic and on trend.
When making design selections for my projects I make sure I have taken into consideration the clients needs, the budget constraints, the functionality of my design and the aesthetic and how it relates to the space. I love to get involved in every aspect of design. The hardware is like furniture jewelry. You can dress a piece up or make it casual. Texture and color enhance the upholstery giving it a subtle voice or making it scream for attention.
I have worked on such diverse hotel projects. Some very contemporary and chic, that no matter where they are located in the world, the guest feels a sense of place, of comfort. Other projects I have worked on have been designed to take the guest into another space and time which creates a sense of adventure and discovery.
I continue to design hotel and residential projects both locally and internationally.
